In the Studio
Based from my studio in Sleights. Art workshops for children.
About
We will be immersed in nature - taking beautiful walks from the garden along hidden footpaths that follow the river 'Littlebeck'. We will find inspiration in the trees and flowers that we pass, the animals that we encounter and the views that we see.
The children can run free through fields, play
poo- sticks from the bridges across the over the river and making daisy chains aplenty. We will then return to the studio to turn ideas into amazing creations.
As a fully qualified Primary School teacher (with 11 years experience) and a practising artist, I am really excited to have the opportunity to inspire and support the next generation of creatives. I will guide the children to follow their interests and help them to realise their visions through 2D and 3D projects. We will explore mono-printing, screen printing, papier - mache, making natural paints and dyes from plants, painting skills, and much more!

I have a full DBS certificate, first aid trained, insured and qualified to teach.
