Zoe Taylor Art
Beach Painting Sessions
Does the idea of sitting on the beach, listening to the waves roll in, with a paint brush in hand, sand between your toes and possibly a glass of something to drink sound like your ideal creative retreat?
Fantastic! I offer two hour sessions, painting on the beach, with all materials included, so all you have to do is arrive, relax and paint.
During the session you will get chance to produce drawings and paintings on paper as well as work on canvas. If you are a full group booking we can talk about producing communal artworks.
I will share with you some of my techniques, ideas and inspirations and hope that you leave this session raring to make more art.
The paint that I supply is acrylic paint, it is good quality and won't fade/change colour over time. However, acrylic paint is hard to get off clothing, so I recommend wearing clothes that you are not too precious about. More than often, people enjoy finding out what happens when you let nature collaborate with you as an artist, and go for a paddle with their paintings. The brave amongst us will be ok with bare feet, but I do recommend wearing wellies on cooler days.
We do usually sit on the sand, so if you think this will be uncomfortable for you, please do bring a beach chair.
The two hour sessions, can be arranged for a date/time and location that suits you, please send me a message and we can make arrangements.
A two hour session is £50 per person.
The sessions work well with four - eight people, but don't fret if you are on your own, I can find a booking to add you into. I have found that these sessions work well from the age of 8 upwards. I will always try to make any mixed group bookings, either child friendly or adult only.
If the weather is awful on the arranged day, I will offer you an alternative date.
Please email or call me if you would like to arrange a session.
